Haskell County
is located in southwest Kansas. The communities within its boundaries are Sublette and Satanta. Sublette is the County Seat.

Organized July 1, 1887, the County was named in honor of Dudley C. Haskell, of Lawrence, who died while serving the State as Congressman, December 16, 1883.

            You are hereby notified that the Board of Haskell County Commissioners has voted to sell and is offering for sale the following real estate in Haskell County,Kansas:




            Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section 13, Township 30 South,

            Range32 West of the 6th P.M.; subject to easements and rights of

            way of record, outstanding mineral interests of record; and

            outstanding oil and gas leases of record.


            The property will be sold by public auction at the Haskell County Courthouse, 300 Inman Street, Sublette, Kansas on the 19th day of May, 2017 at 10:00a.m.  The property is unimproved and is being sold “as is” with no warranties other than merchantable title, which will be subject to easements and restrictions of record.The property will be sold to the highest and best bidder.  The entire amount of the bid must be paid on the date of closing. The Board of Haskell County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.


            The purchaser of the property will be required to sign the Real estate Contract that has been prepared by Haskell County and will be subject and obligated to the terms of the Real Estate Contract.  Other than the name of the purchaser, the amount to be paid, and the signature of the person authorized to enter into the contract, no additional terms or changes may be added to the Real Estate Contract.


            Any persons or entities interested in bidding on the property may obtain the Real Estate Contract from the Haskell County Clerk’s office at the Haskell County Courthouse, 300 Inman Street, P.O.Box 518, Sublette, Kansas  67877.  Reasonable rights of inspection will be granted to those who wish to inspect the property or perform tests.  If interested, please contact the Haskell County Clerk at (620) 675-2263.
