Gene Ochs

Gene was elected in November, 1994. He is currently in his third term. He served as Chairman in 1996, 1999, 2001, 2004.

Gene has served on the ASCS Board and the USD 374 Board of Education. He is now serving on the Southwest Developmental Services and Haskell County Historical Society.

After graduating from Sublette High School, Gene attended Garden City Junior College until going into the Navy and served in the Korean War. He was in the Navy from 1950 to 1954. He went back to Garden City Junior College and completed one and a half years. He then began farming, which he is still doing.

Gene has two children and six grandchildren.

Bill Lower

Bill was elected in November 1992. He is currently in his third term. He has served as chairman in 1994, 1997, 2000 and 2005.

Bill graduated from Sublette High School in 1963 and from Fort Hays State University with a BS in agriculture in 1968. Bill served in the Army from 1968 - 1971. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Bill came back to Sublette and began farming, which he is still doing.

Bill has a wife, Terri, two children and three grandchildren.

Chuck Lozar

Chuck was appointed in May, 2010.

He has lived in Haskell County his entire life. He is self-employed.

Chuck has a wife, Cindy and two children.
